Bas Relief in air dry clay

My art program is limited (no kiln) so to be able to use clay students create with air dry clay. Students studied the work and sculpture of Donatello. We were transitioning into the renaissance and looking at coin designs. The most important part of the lesson is to extract the clay not add to the clay. 12/18
