Impasto Painting

For our study of Impressionism, Van Gogh, we focused on texture and movement, through the paint and medium. The students created a composition in their sketchbooks, then were given a canvas, and created the composition in acrylic paint and medium to created the "impasto" texture. Mostly focusing primarily on using palette knives as the tool in which to paint. 1/2019
